New way to book for less!
Since we know Airbnb’s service fees can really add up, we created a way for you to book for 12% less with us directly.
The nitty gritty: On September 15, 2026, Airbnb plopped all their service fees (15.5%) onto their hosts. They provided us a one button tool to increase our nightly rate on account of it. So you may not see a service fee line item anymore while you’re booking, but it’s baked in the total price.

YOUR HOSTS
A little about us, if you're curious.
We paint the town we host in.
Henson Places is run by two people who happen to also make the art on the walls — so what you’re staying in isn’t a rental, it’s a sketch of Evanston someone actually lived in first.
WHILE YOU'RE HERE
Settle in like you live here.
Home away from home, literally.
Our welcome guide covers the practical stuff and the personal stuff — WIFI, house rules, info for your stay, and who to contact if anything’s off.
CURRENT GUEST?
Everything you need, in one guide.
Wifi password, check-out time, where to find extras — it’s all in there.
